Mr. Clatterbuck was born Aug. 29, 1913 in Sperryville, a son of the late Ashby and Maggie Jane Frazier Clatterbuck.
As a young man, Mr. Clatterbuck worked with the Civil Conservation Corps. He was a farmer and worked on Byrnely Farm at The Plains for over 40 years.
Survivors include his wife, Fannie Yates Clatterbuck of Bealeton; a son, Rodney D. Clatterbuck of Bealeton; one daughter, Doris C. Wade of Ashburn; a sister, Lucille Gray of Culpeper and one brother, David Clatterbuck, also of Culpeper; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Sidney A. Clatterbuck.
Funeral services were conducted Feb. 13 at Moser Funeral Home Chapel in Warrenton. Burial was private.
