The Rappahannock Ski Area reported the “largest weekend in its 10 year history” last week, and expecta tions for an even bigger weekend of skiing coming up. Russ Albert, Ski Area manager, said that more than 1,650 skiers were on the slopes last Saturday and Sunday. He said snow conditions remain “excellent,” and the area is expecting maybe even more skiers this week. The second in a series of exciting basketball games featuring Rappahannock Jaycee cagers is scheduled for Feb. 16 at the local high school. The Rappahannock Jaycees will meet the Culpeper All Stars which means there will be a lively contest. Franks in Front Royal was advertising a 50 percent and more off of win ter merchandise. A grand piano has been given the Washington Baptist Church by Karl Burke in memory of his father, the late James Lester Burke. Miss Brenda Printz will be vocalist at
