Australia has done it again with this sequel that surpasses the original. Babe, the extraordinarily polite pig with the sweetly persistent manner, tries to raise money in the great megalopolis for the ailing Hoggett farm.
At an animal hotel, Babe falls in with a professional clown named Fugly Floom (Mickey Rooney) and a circus family of monkeys, including a hip chimpanzee couple, a morose orangutan. The animals, who speak in dark, ironies, have the real depression of a lifetime circus performers.
