Bull Run

races set

new course

The annual Bull Run Hunt Point-to-Point May 2 will be contested over a brand new course near Culpeper. Set in the hunt club’s main territory near the kennels in Rapidan, Brandywine Park is said to be a “rolling, scenic” right-handed oval, with good footing and terrific viewing expected.

The club’s race program is mostly unchanged from their event, in year’s past held at Middleburg’s Glenwood Park. Races are scheduled for ponies, novice riders on the flat, over hurdles and timber. A hunter relay, draft horse race and mule race round out the card.
