ber music concerts this season, an ensemble of string players, led by Kenneth Slowik, Artistic Director of the Smithsonian Chamber Players, will present three of Bach’s great harpsichord concertos.
For their annual Celtic music concert at the Theatre on October 20, the well known duo Linn Barnes and Allison Hampton will be joined by Robert Hill and Kathryn Johnson.
On Sunday afternoon, November- 11, from the Kennedy Center Chamber Players, Grammy Award winning pianist Lambert Orkis and cellist David Hardy will give the second and final concert in the mini-series in which they play the Complete Sonatas and Variations for Piano and Cello by Ludwig van Beethoven.
Tickets for all of the above concerts are $20 for adults and $5 for students 18 and under. Reservations are recommended.
In addition to the above program So presented by the Theatre itself, the Theatre will be the venue, on December 7, for a “Feast of Carols” presented by the Blue Ridge Chorale.
