These information-packed workshops are sponsored by Aging Together, a partnership of over 100 organizations and individuals in our 5-county area dedicated to improving quality of life and supports to older adults and their families. An important focus for the partnership is on family caregivers, who provide the majority of care for older adults. Census projections indicate that 40 percent of workers will be caring for a parent by 2010. It will be increasingly important to find ways to support this often unseen but vital human resource.
