Traffic Engineering Consulting Services
The Virginia Department of Transportation is seeking Expressions of Interest from consulting engineering firms who wish to be considered to provide professional engineermg services and support to VDOT traffic engineering staff to optimize and re-time traffic signals and to operate traffic signal and freeway systems operations in the VDOT Northern Operations Region. The Northern Operations Region has approximately 22 networks comprised of 1 400 signalized intersections in Fairfax, Prince William, Loudoun, Fauquier, Stafford, King George, Spotsylvania, Orange! Culpeper, Rappahannock, and Madison Counties. The freeway systems consist of I-95, I-395, I-495, I-66, and the Dulles Toll Road. The proposed one-year limited services contract with optional two (2) one-year renewable terms will have a maximum value of $2,000,000 per term.
