Leslie both bubbling with enthusiasm. They are smaller horses at 13-15 hands. But they are deceptively strong, originally bred in Europe to pull gypsy wagons. They were happy to show me their beautiful Vanner stallion, Charmed I Am Sure. He’s beautiful and as wellbehaved as all their other horses.

As if their lives weren’t full enough with the horses, the training and the riding lessons they offer, they also breed Yorkshire Terriers. Between the six Yorkies and their three large dogs, Sparks, Ricochet and Red, the dog entertainment is as exciting as the horses!

Unfortunately, Amissville is going to lose Mike and Leslie and their animals in the near future. The farm is currently for sale. Mike said, “We need to expand and it’s just too expensive to do that here.” So Tennessee is their next stop. But Leslie wants to reassure all their students that they’ll come back frequently and will always be happy to help when they’re in town.

But they’re not gone yet! If you’d like to talk with them about training, riding lessons or buying one of their beautiful horses you can give them a call at 540-347-0495. You can also check out their web site at http^/www.mysticdreamllc.com for more photos of Mike and Leslie and their horses and dogs. I guarantee you’ll catch some of their enthusiasm for these amazing animals.
