SAT scores down
Dr. Chappell presented last year's SAT scores for Rappahannock County High School at the School Board meeting. He noted that the scores were down from last year, though he said that school’s small student body causes more drastic year—toyear fluctuation than other counties experience. Rappahannock students generally scored better than students in neighboring school districts.
NCLB resolution

The School Board approved a resolution urging Rep. Cantor to support changes to the No Child Left Behind Act. Dr. Chappell called the changes to the strict federal guidelines “reasonable”
