While he concedes that “it , is a useful tool, measuring exactly what it needs to measure,” he counters that “the criteria are not useful for evaluating” In selecting a college, he reasons, the criteria are not necessarily effective.

Senior Nancy Herbert inquired, “Why do I need to look at them when I have focused on the school I want to attend?”
Her view seems to be the common opinion among the seniors, who have already zeroed in on colleges that interest them, and of those, hope to apply and receive admission.
