At the 1991 Blue Ridge Hunt Point-to-Point at Woodley near Benryville, 30 youngsters take an intimate look at the national fence hurdle between races. The kids are standing atop the foam ‘roll’, a green tarp-covered section that provides a visual ground line for runners, aiding in depth perception and spatial analysis as they fly over the obstacles. Woodley is hosting its first-ever fall races this year. Sept 22 at the spectator-friendly course.
