A pproximately 170 people attended x\the Historical Sampler on September 9 at Montpelier, one of the most historically noted and architecturally imposing structures in Rappahannock County owned by Roger and Sophie Scruton. The day was enjoyable, the food was delectable, and the history was plentiful.
The Board of Directors of the Rappahannock Historical Society wishes to express our sincerest thank you to all those individuals who made this event a success. They include the following;
