The Headwaters 10th

Anniversary Taste of Rappahannock, held on Saturday, September 8 at the Belle Meade Schoolhouse in Sperryville was a tremendous success. It’s hard to believe that it was only ten years ago that Headwaters began, with the mission to work with Rappahannock County Schools for educational excellence.

The “Taste” helps to fund many of the Headwaters programs such as: Next Step, our College Access program; Farm to Table, our sustainable agriculture program; Starfish, our mentoring program; and many other smaller but no less important projects that support our children.

The success of the event was due to the hard work of many, many people and organizations. We would like to thank everybody for their time, effort and contributions. If it takes a village to raise a child then it takes an army of volunteers to make a night like this a reality.
