youngsters turn out and a surprising number catch trout, some even reaching the legal creel limit of six fish.

Youngsters are asked to bring their own fishing tackle and bait. Any freshwater gear will do, the lighter the better, and worms make acceptable bait, as do cheese bajJs and

&sn

charges.

Adults can accompany children but cannot fish. And for those youngsters unskilled in trout fishing there will be members of Trout Unlimited standing by to lend a hand with tying on hooks, taking off fish and ' putting worms on hooks.

Horse Course

Offered

At Germanna

A course in horse showing and eventing will be offered at Germanna Community College in Locust Grove on Thursday evenings from 7-9:40 p.m. beginning March 29.

The class will feature practical lectures and discussions designed for competitors and spectators at horseshows and three-day events. It will also include discussion on the judge’s perspective and a thorough analysis on the rules and customs of horseshows.

Tuition for the three credit course if $40.60 for Virginia residents. Students may register at the first class meeting. For more information, contact the college’s division of Business and Technology at 399-1333, ext. 241.
