Jack Knox, the popular Scotsman from Montello, Wisconsin, will again be the instructor for the United States Border Collie Club’s semi-annual sheep dog handlers training clinic to be held March 30 and 31 and April 1 at Sunnybrook Farm in White Post and at Yaeger Gum’s farm north of Leesburg on April 2 and 3. Advanced dogs will also work at Sunnybrook on March 28 and 29.

10-Mile Race

The fifth annual Loudoun Memorial Hospital 10-Mile Run and Two-Mile Fun Run will be held on Saturday, May 12, at Catoctin Elementary School in Leesburg.
The Two-Mile Rim for Fun and Fitness will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the 10-Mile race following immediately.
The top three men and women finishers in the 10and two-mile runs, as well as the top three in each age group, will receive awards. Winners in the 40-and-above age group will receive masters awards. There are 11 age groups in the 10-miler and 13 in the two-miler. Awards will also be made to the first Loudoun County - man and woman to finish the race.
