Scouts Hold Magic Show

A magic show and bazaar featuring The Little Professor Edwin Smith will be presented by Cub Scout Pack 123 at the elementary school on Sunday, April 8, beginning at 3 p.m. Admission is $1 for students and $1.50 for adults.

In addition to fun, games'■and tricks, the show and bazaar will offer a handmade quilt to be given away as a fund raiser for the Scouts. For information on the quilt, contact any Scout or leaders Cecily Kohler, Sean Kilpatrick, Judy Tole, Will Brown or Paul Nichols.

Library Program

The Rappahannock Library will sponsor a special program on Oriental rugs next Thursday, March 29, at 7:30 p.m.

Guest speaker John C. Elsea will talk about the art of rug weaving, the textiles employed, countries of origin and traditions of each. Those who have small oriental rugs are invited to bring them to the program for identification.

Ladies To Meet

The Sperryville Ladies Auxiliary will meet on Monday, April 2 at 7 p.m. at the fire hall. Election of officers for 1984 will be held and all members are urged to attend.

Lions Hold Free Sight

And Hearing Screening

The Lions Club Sight and Hearing Mobile Screening Unit will be available for free screening in Rappahannock Monday through Wednesday. The unit will be at Wakefield School on Monday from 9-3, at RCHS on Tuesday from 9-3 and at RCES on Wednesday. The latter day is for elementary school children only. Adults are welcome to attend on Monday and Tuesday.
