Frankie B. Yates

Mrs. Frankie Brown Yates, 66, of Griffinsburg, died Wednesday, March 21,1984, at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville.

A native of Culpeper County, she was the daughter of the late Louise Tucker Brown and I. Frank Brown of Culpeper. Mrs. Yates was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and was active in the choir. Her entire life was dedicated to helping her family and friends.

In addition to her father, survivors include her husband, Conner F. Yates, Jr. of Griffinsbuig; three daughters, Mrs. JoGale Lane, Mrs. Wendy Sanders and Mrs. Raven Yates Nicholson, all of Griffinsburg and four grandchildren.

Graveside services were conducted on Friday at the Yates family cemetery at Griffinsburg by the Rev. Harold Carter.

Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of arrangements.
