The 90 Democratic supporters who showed up at the courthouse on Saturday were there to be counted, not to listen to partisan speeches. The tally at the end of the half hour session found 39 in the Hart camp, 28 for Mondale and two for Jesse Jackson. Twenty-two registered as uncommitted, apparently responding to Governor Charles Robb’s call for Virginia Democrats to stop short of endorsing any of the three candidates remaining in the race.
