Bom in Washington, D.C- during 1943 - the year of the grey penny, to a close Navy family was Nancy Ann Smith.
Living as far Northeast as snowy Bath, Maine, and as far Southwest as balmy Honolulu, Hawaii, educated at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. and Lord Fairfax Community College in Virginia, majoring in Art and Drafting was Nancy Smith Tribino.
Six years ago, she married the handsome and charming Richard A. Schoppet, architect and a Virginian with three • little Sdhoppet’s "named Angina,^ Laurie and Tommy. Nancy also had two little Tribino’s named Pamela and Richard. Yes, the “Brady Bunich” moved to Rappahannock County to Castletons’ Blue Knoll. Nancy Tribino Schoppet came to know the country life.
The years have quickly passed and the birdies are leaving the nest. Adventuresome Angela, age 22, resides near Phoenix, Arizona now and is a successful turquoise jeweler who reads the Rappahannock News.

Mrs. T.J. Pillar, entertained the Sperryville Bridge Club at her home on Friday evening.
Guests were Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. R.E. Thompsen, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. W.H. Cordle, Mrs. Frances Tabler, Mrs. Ulrich Maeyer, Mrs. Dale Metzinger and Mrs. Jack Brown.
