Two Local Singers
The Front Royal Oratorio Society presents Brahams’ “A German Requiem” on Sunday, April 8, at 7:30. It will be performed at the Boggs Chapel at Randolph Macon Academy in Front Royal.
Local Society members Barbara Gentry and Joan St. Clare are among the singers.
Benefit Dinner Planned
A benefit dinner sponsored by the Sperryville Ladies Auxiliary is being planned for Saturday, April 7 at the Sperryville fire hall. The menu consists of country ham, barbecue chicken, vegetables, dessert and beverage.
Serving time will be from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m., wit ;arry-out dinners available from 4:30 until 5:15. Picket prices are $6 for adults and $3 for children and may be purchased from any member of the auxiliary or at the door. For more information call 987-8802.
