“A Touch Of Class”
The Rappahannock’s Woman’s Club will be presenting its annual fashion show on Sunday, April 1, at 2 p.m. at the Rappahannock Elementary School. This years show will feature fashions with “A Touch Of Class” from Frank’s and Warren Quality Shop in Front Royal and Jack and Jill in Culpeper.
Proceeds from the fashion show will benefit the club’s annual scholarship and help provide new playground equipment for the elementary school.
Ticket prices are $2.50 for adults and $1.50 for children in advance; $3 and $2 at the door. Tickets may be purchased from any member or by calling Fran Eldred at 675-3385 or Janet Yancey at 937-5239.
1974 Class Reunion
The Rappahannock County High School Class of 1974 is planning its tenth year reunion. An organizational meeting will be held this Saturday, March 31, at the home of Nanette Butler in Sperryville. Trinity Benefit
Sale Planned
Keesey Oriental and African Products announces a special three-day sale for the benefit of the Trinity Episcopal Church Building Fund. The sale will be held at Town Hall (old Methodist Church, next to VPI Extension Center) on South Gay Street Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 19, 20 and 21 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Articles for sale will include: Chinese brocades, purses, an assortment of bags and various sizes, shapes and colors of jewel boxes, Chinese tapestries; Chinese cloisonne items; Japanese lacquer, porcelain animal and traditional plates and hand-carved wood African animals.
