At the task force’s first meeting in January, Keesey was voted public relations consultant for the group. Alan Diamonstein, chairman of Virginia’s Democratic Party, assigned Keesey to assist staffer Luther Stringarn with Assembling an information package for newspapers, radio and television throughout the state.
