1983 was a year of change and productivity for Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
With new physician specialists and new facilities and equipment in several deportments, CMH expanded services to the community. Beside the Matemal/Child program and the Wellness community education series, significant surgical advances occurred at CMH in orthopedics, gynecology, otolaryngology (ear, nose, throat), and plastic surgery.
In addition to these advances, CMH experienced growth in patient use of emergency services, outpatient surgery, and home health care. The 1983 Annual Report highlights the emergency department, outpatient surgery, the Home Health Agency, and the obstetric department.
We are glad to bring this report to the communities we serve. With your support we will continue to provide quality health care with a personal touch.
