Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lndwick, Sr. of Gastleton announce the marriage of their daughter, Robin Elaine Cooper to Stuart Bryant Lee, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Lee, Sr. of Washbwton on Saturday, November 17,1984.
The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Steven N. Scoggin at the Washington Baptist Church at 4 p.m. The church was decorated with a silk floral arrangement on the piano and two vases of flowers consisting of white giadioias and lavendar carnations on either side of the steps that led to the altar.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her brother, the bride wore a long white semi-cathedral length gown made of chiffon. The neckline of the gown was off-shoulder with a chantilly lace ruffle. The fitted and trimmed lace bodice featured an A-line skirt that was bordered in flowing chantilly lace ruffles. She wore a picture hat with a blusher and waistlength veil. The bride’s all silk bouquet consisted of white and lavendar roses, stephanotis, baby’s breath, lavendar carnations, lily of the valley and lavendar snap florets with lace streamers.
The groom wore a white tuxedo with tails.
Steve Norman, friend of the groom, was best man.
Ushers were Thomas Lee, Jr. and Patrick Lee, brothers of the groom. They wore white tuxedos with straight jackets.
Special music was sung by Marie Davis of Washington, who was accompanied by Mrs. Bonnie Williams on the piano as she sang “You Are So BeautifolToMe”.
The bridal party wore drcosss of jacquard in a ruffled off-the-shoulder style with a foil A-line skirt that was accented with a sash that tied in the back.
