The planners learned they may have to take a closer look at expansion of the Village Residential area, however. The reason: The sewer system to be constructed in Sperryville next year will operate at 80 percent capacity from the onset, according to Carson Johnson, Sperryville resident and member of the Water and Sewer Authority (WSA), which is overseeing the project. It may not leave a lot of room for growth.
