Revision of Section 2 of the Motor Vehicle License Tax .
Ordinance of Rappahannock County, Virginia At 10:00 A.M. on January 7, 1965 in the Rappahannock County Courthouse, Washington, Virginia, the Board of Supervisors for Rappahannock County, Virginia shall propose for passage, and hold a public hearing with respect to. a revision of Section 2 of the “Motor Vehicle License Tax Ordinance of Rappahannock County, Virginia,” % as follows: Section 2 Amount of Tax: a) For “farm vehicles” as defined by Section 46.1-1543 of the Code of Virginia, the tax shall be $15.00; b) for motorcycles the tax shall be $15.00; c) for two-wheeled trailers designed to transport property, including boat trailers, the tax shall be $6.50; d) for all other trailers and semi-trailers the tax shad be $15.00; e) for antique motor vehicles as defined by Section 46.1-104 of the Code of Virginia, a tax of $5.00 shad be charged, and no further tax shad be charged until title to said vehicle vests in another, after which such new owner shad pay the tax hereby established on or before the 30th of April following the transfer of title of the vehicle; f) for well drilling machinery and specialized mobile equipment as defined by Section 46.1-156of the Code of Virginia, the tax shad be $15.00; g) for ad other motor vehicles not specified above, the tax shad be $20.00.
