We congratulate the Rappahannock County High School Jr. Varsity Basketball team for smearing their opponent in the first game of this season, last Monday night in the high schooL The gym shook with yells and screams, as the peppy cheerleaders led the packed house in hip-hip-hoorays for the team. The lovely girls also performed gymnastic routines.
After the game, a R.C.H.S. Booster Club meeting was held in Room 1. About a half doaen people were there, and they discussed having a talent show in the spring. The next meeting will be held in January to make plans for the show. The chib is hoping (and wishing) for more participation from parents.
Stevan and Marguerite Nikolajevic had lunch last Saturday with their friends from Aldington, Mr. and Mrs. William Todd and their son Chris at the Corner Post. The Todds, BUI and Daniele are planning to build a home on their property in Flint Hill in the near future. Before going to the Corner Post, Bill, Daniele and Chris met with their architect, Richard Schoppet to discuss their house plans. Of course, Richards’s wife, Nancy loved meeting the nice family, and did her best to turn it into a social visit. After all, someday the Todds will be a marvelous addition to our nearby community of Flint Hill
