A group of 100 students of French and faculty from Wakefield School traveled to Washington, D.C. on Monday, December 10 to see a performance of Le Petit Prince by Antoine de SaintEuxpery.
The performance at D.A.R. Constitution Hall, was sponsored by the National Center of Perfroming Arts, Limited which is under the auspices of the National Theater. A traveling troupe at professional actors specializing in production for students, put on the play which was adapted to modern times with contemporary music and an R2D2 robot character. The play was staged first in English and then the characters would reverse their actions and re-do the scene in French.
