Donna Cooper, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and she wore a dark lilac gown and carried a bouquet of white carnations, baby’s breath, lavendar roses and lavender snap florets with orchid streamers.
Bridesmaids were Karen Lud-. wick, sister of the bride, and Carolyn Lee, sister of the groom. They wore orchid gowns and carried a bouquet of white carnations, baby’s breath, lavendar and purple snap florets with dark lilac streamers.
Beth Magee of Castleton was the flower girt. She carried a White lace basket with orchid streamer* and filled with white and lavendar daisy petals and baby’s breath.
The bride’s mother wore a formal length sapphire blue gown of satin which was fashioned by three-quarter length puffed sleeves and accented at the waist with a cummerbund.
Hie groom’s mother choose a formal length dusty rose gown of polyster with a lace over taffeta bodice and a matching lace over taffeta vest. They both wore corsages of white orchids.
Mariena Jenkins of Washington attended the guest book.
The reception-dance was held at Flint Hill fire hall where guest enjoyed homecooking catered by Margaret Meyer and Mary Magee of Castleton and danced to the musk of Larry LeHew and his band. Charlotte Hitt of Castleton served the punch.
The wedding cake was baked and served by Mrs. Ginny Pierson of Amissville.
A rehersal dinner was given by the groom’s parents at Country Cookin in Culpeper.
After honeymooning in Bermuda for a week the couple returned to their home in Washington.
