Loudoun Commissioner
The search is on to find a replacement for the Loudoun County’s Commissioner of the Revenue, both for an interim appointee and candidates to run in a special election in November.
Plenty of names have been mentioned in Democratic and Republican political circles as possible candidates since the incumbent commissioner, Democrat Lee T. Keyes, announced April 16 that he would resign effective June 30.
Keyes, 66, commissioner since 1972, announced he would resign because he has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He has not yet made a plea to the charge,
