To the editor:
The yellow shafted flicker is a beautiful bird in flight, but a scourge when nesting in your home. They drill fist-sized entries and test borings on the sunny side of any wooden-sheathed building.
Perhaps some experienced soul will write the Rappahannock News (if we can enlist the power of the press) with practical suggestions.
