and Mrs. Fred Codding of Fairfax were guests last Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. George Hawkins. Mrs. Hawkins accompanied her daughter, Mrs. Codding to Fairfax, returning home on Saturday. On Monday, Mrs. Hawkins accompanied Mrs. Phil Hawkins of Slate Mills and her houseguest, her mother, Mrs. Virginia Hodgson of Statesville, N.C. to Charlottesville.
Mrs. Robert W. Brown was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Butler and daughter, Susan in Annandale.
Mrs. Kathleen Dodson spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dodson in Fairfax and Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Peyton, Jr. and family in Falls Church.
Several families have moved in and around the area and the community extends a warm welcome to each.
Jon and April Heddleston recently purchased the Doug and Margaret Baumgardner home on Route 211. The Heddlestons have two children, Jonathan and Chad.
John Wayne and Barbara Burke recently purchased the log cabin that belonged to Roger and Beverly Atkins, just w'est of Sperrvville and sold their house in Old Hollow to William and Barbara Taylor.
