Paul and Kim Novak just returned from a three

Paul and Kim Novak just returned from a three week visit and vacation to England, where Paul’s parents live. They had a marvelous time sightseeing and shopping in London and Paris— even had to buy an extra suitcase to bring all the goodies home. Kim’s mother, Mrs. Barbara Reid, was tickled pink with the lovely, wool sweaters that Paul’s mom had knitted for her and Mr. Reid.

Howard and Helen Holschuh are having real, special guests for dinner tomorrow night. They are: Nancy Chapplear Baird from Fauquier County, who has written an interesting book on her ancestor’s journal (who was from Rappahannock County) during the Civil War, Mr. Rex Lindstrom, President of the Historical Society, and his wife, Mrs. Lindstrom and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Robson, all from Rappahannock County. Afterwards, they will all attend the Historical Society meeting on Gay Street at 7:30 p.m. The public is cordially invited.

The Schoppet-Tribino clan had plenty of company this past weekend starting with Friday night after the Booster Club's variety show. Speaking of the variety show—what went on backstage—was a show in itself!! Well, anyway, Richard Tribino and twTo overnight guests who were Mike DeLuise and Willie “The Poet” Arias, who acted in a comical skit for the show. Mike had won one of the prizes, which was a beautifully, decorated cake that he brought over to the house. It’s no more—his mother probably never saw it.

That same night, daughter, Pamela Tribino (who came home from college for 24 hours), brought the band, “Duece”, home with her for a short visit. The grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Schoppet were there for an overnight visit too. Everyone had fun talking about the show and all the excitement, confusion and problems that go along with it. Amazing how it manages to turnout each time! Absolutely wild and crazy!!!
