Mrs. Paul Miller entertained the Washington Bridge Club at her home on Thursday evening.

Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Ian Pryde, Mrs. E.M. Jones, Mrs. W.A. Moore and Mrs. Harry Lee Smith.

Others playing were Mrs. Harold Scoggin, Mrs. Frank Spalding, Mrs. M.R. Bradford and Mrs. Emory Russell.

Mrs. Thomas Eastham entertained the Flint Hill Bridge Club and additional guests at her home on Monday evening.

Prizes were won by Mrs. Thomas Massie, Mrs. Richard Latham, Mrs. W.G. Eatham, Jr. and Mrs. Robert Eastham.

Others playing were Mrs. W.A. Moore, Mrs. Emory Russell, Mrs. Earl Edmonds and Mrs. Paul Miller.

Mrs. Ethel Pullen, who has been hospitalized at Warren Memorial Hospital returned to her home last week and is spending some time with her daughter, Mrs. Loucille Settle at Manassas.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Curtis spent last week on vacation at Jekyll, Georgia.

Mrs. James Nicholson of Woodstock has been spending a few days with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Vest. Mr. Nicholson has been a patient at Warren Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. M.H. Brady returned to her home on Saturday from Warren Memorial Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Ned Pierpoint, Ned, Jr. and Sharen of Alexandria were Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lillard.

Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Milam of Roxboro, N.C. spent last week with Mrs. Milam’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McCulloch

The WSCS of the United Methodist Church met recently with Mrs. Evelyn Walker.
