A bake sale to benefit the Rappahannock Animal Shelter will be held at two locations in the county on Saturday, April 18.
From 7:30a.m.-noon the sale will be at the Rappahannock Co-op, and from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at That Sperryville Emporium.
Those wishing to donate a baked item or make a donation should call 937-3283 during the day or 675-3790 after 6 p.m.
County GOP mass meeting
The Rappahannock Republican Committee holds its mass meeting at 8 p.m. Monday, April 20 in the Rappahannock Courthouse to elect delegates to the 10th Congressional District and for the Republican presidential candidates. ’ ■ There is a $1 fee to attend. Registration runs from 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Candidates for delegate or alternate must pre-file with Chairman Ron Frazier. Call 937-5983 for more information.
