Elvis Dodson
Charles Elvis Dodson, 28, of Sperryville, died Friday, April 10 at his residence.
Mr. Dodson was a native of Culpeper and the son of Charles and Virginia Brown Dodson of Sperryville. He was an employee of Communications Corporation of America and a member of Etlan Free Methodist Church.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a son, Benjamin Elvis Dodson of Luray; a daughter, Kelly Marie Knight of Front Royal; two sisters, Christine Timbers and Darlene Updike, both of Sperryville and his fiancee, Littie Holmes of Midland and her son, Thomas Holmes.
A funeral was held Wednesday, April 15 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper with the Rev. Douglas Farmer officiating, with interment in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.
Pallbearers were Chris Hetzer, Ernie Anderson, Robert Dennis, Chris Foster, Mike Williams, Glen Campbell, Steve Brown and Joseph Holmes.
