Our sympathy to Doris Vest and family on the death of her grandmother Florence Butler who passed away on Wednesday. Funeral services were held at Etlan on Friday. Mrs. Vest, Christine Vest and Renee Calisto motored to Luray on Thursday to visit Mrs. Vest’s parents Mr. and Mrs. James Nicholson. Mr. Nicholson entered the hospital there on Wednesday.
Frank Huff a patient at VA Medical Center spent the weekend at his home here. Mr. Huff with Ludmilla Bochrov attended the firemen’s banquet on Saturday evening. Mr. Huff was accompanied back to VA Medical Center on Sunday by Carolyn Kinsey and son Scott.
The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have sunrise service at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 19. The pastor the Rev. Merlin Shorb will deliver the message.

Mr. and Mrs. John Jones and Karen of Purcellville are proud to announce the birth of a daughter and sister, Kristen Nicole, born April 1. at Winchester Medical Center. She weighed eight pounds and 15 ounces and was 20 inches long.
Paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jones of Flint Hill.
Maternal grandparents are Charles Presgraves of Flint Hill and Goldie Henry of Strasburg.
