A funeral service was conducted Sunday, April 5 at the Kyger & Trobaugh Funeral Home in Elkton by the Rev. Donald T. Leatherman. Burial was in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens near Harrisonburg.
Dr. Elijah Barber
Dr. Elijah Barber, 94, of Culpeper, died Thursday, April 9 at Meadowbrook Adult Care Home.
He was a native of Orange County.
He practiced medicine in Culpeper for 57 years of the 62 years he lived in Culpeper.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Hill of Culpeper; one son, James E. Barber of Abingdon, Md. and two grandchildren, Marsha and Michelle Hill, both of Culpeper.
Graveside services were held at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Woodville Monday, April 13 with the Rev. Dan Gregg and the Rev. Kevin Alzak of Mount Lebanon and Alliance Bible churches officiating.
