• Ajuga, or Carpet Bungleweed: Little or no maintenance required for this plant in which foliage grows in rosettes with upright clusters of blue flowers in early summer. Grows in partial shade to fall sun and tolerates a wide range of soil conditions as long as soil is well-drained.
• Blue Fescue or Glauca Grass: Rarely needs any care, can be cut back in spring if it becomes shabby looking. Grows in clumps of grassy, silvery-blue foliage. Likes well-drained soil in partial shade to full sun.
