B&B's moveable feast I

The Bed and Breakfast Guild of Rappahannock has scheduled its annual Moveable Feast at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday, April 26. The Guild has sponsored a Moveable Feast since 1988.

Participating B&B’s are Caledonia Farm, The Conyer’s House, Gay Street Inn, Thistle Hill and Sycamore Hill.

Reservations may be made by calling the Gay Street Inn at 6753288.

Easter egg hunt

An Easter egg hunt and social will be held at Horseshoe Hill Recreational Center, U.S. 211 west of Sperryville from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Monday, April 20. There will be fun for all ages including sack races, soft ball, food and drinks. This event will benefit the Rappahannock Community Citizen League Center.

Bake sale

The Rappahannock Senior Citizens will be holding a bake sale at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 17. Come and get some delicious goodies for your Easter weekend! »

Phase I completed

On Saturday, April 25 there will be a celebration of the completion of Phase I of the playground at the Rappahannock Park. The time is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring a potluck for picnic time. Phase II will also be unveiled.

Lecture planned

LeeAnn Washburn will be conducting an introductory class, “Touch for Health,” from 7 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21. Learn how to use this simple method to feel more energized, centered, relaxed and coordinated. Call Kaye Kohler at 937-3110 or Ms. Washburn at 547-3206 for more information.

Easter breakfast

Come have breakfast with the Easter bunny from 7-11 a.m. on Saturday, April 18 at Washington Volunteer fire hall. Items will include sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, French toast, cereal, eggs, pancakes, hash browns, fried apples, milk, coffee, tea, juice and hot chocolate. Price will be $5 for adults and $3 for children.

Free childrens Easter egg hunt at 11:30 a.m. with age groups, under 4 years, 4-8 years and 9-12 years. There will be prizes, baskets and fun for all.
