The featured dog at the Animal Shelter in Amissville this week is a 4-year-old shepherdlab cross. Named Kahilla, she is housebroken and will sit and stay. She is very friendly and just needs a place to run and play. Also available this week are: a 6-month-old German shepherd female named Jo; a 6-month old German shepherd cross male named King; a 1-2 year old female lab cross, very friendly, named Chester; and a black-andtan female husky, about a year old. The shelter is open from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. The lost animal registry can be found in the Classified Section of the Rappahannock News.
