The public hearing on the ordinance was continued until next month, on a motion passed 5-0 (Mr. Miller abstained, probably speaking for more than just himself when he said: “I still don’t know what’s going on.”).
As to the grandfathering of offsite drainfield rights, that issue apparently did not reach a consensus, and was apparently ignored. Requests by the paper to Mr. Reynolds and Mayor Morehouse to clarify what consensus, if any, was reached, were not answered by presstime.
