The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department has installed a 20,000gallon water tank underneath the carnival grounds, officials announced this week.
The storage tank will be used for fires within the village and first-due area, and to re-fill tanker trucks.
Those contributing to the installation include Flint Hill Fire members, Serreno Excavating of Huntly, and Blosser and Sons Excavating of Flint Hill, Robert Clatterbuck and Son, and Gus Forbush Crane and Steel Co. of Huntly.
