Week observed
American Home Week, an affirmation of private property rights and the privilege of homeownership, will be celebrated in communities across the nation May 3-9.
The week-long observance, sponsored each year by the National Association of Realtors, is aimed at reminding individuals, businesses and industries of their rights and responsibilities as citizens and property owners in an effort to bring people together for the betterment of the community.
Festivities planned by the Piedmont Association of Realtors (PAR) include public open houses to be held simultaneously on May 3 in Culpeper, Rappahannock, Orange and Madison counties with cash prizes to be awarded in each county through random drawings.
A series of homebuying/homeselling seminars is scheduled to begin on May 7 and continue from 7 to 9
