There are new categories for runners in their 40s this year, due to increased demand. The categories are (the same for men and women): 12 and under, 13-18, 1924, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 4549,50-59, and 60 and over.
In addition to the Eva Smith Memorial Awards, donated this year by Merrill Strange, trophies go to the first three finishers in each category.
