Three students of French at Wakefield School in Marshall have been initiated into the French National Honor Society (FNHS). The students were: Stephanie Tomeden, a student of French V from Flint Hill; Michelle Palft$ of Delaplane, who is studying French IV; and Jennifer Galli, a French II student who lives in Charles Town* W. Va.
The F.N.H.S. is a national organization which recognizes the achievements of excellent French students. Jacqueline Senseney, the French instructor for the prep school, is the sponsor of the F.N.H.S.
To become members of the society, students must be at least in the ninth grade, enrolled in at least the second semester of French II, have First Honors in French, and be in good standing in all other classes taken.
