'The Slabtown District Convention," a play sponsored by the Julia E. Boddie Scholarship Committee, will be presented at Rappahannock High, 8 p.m. Saturday, April 25. Thrpoijlic is invited and tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for children.
The play was written by Nannie H. Burroughs, bon\ in 1883 in Orange County, Va. Miss Burroughs was instrumental in forming the National Trade and ’ Professional School for Women in D.C., ■ renamed the Nannie Burroughs School in 1964, three years after her death.
