the polls gave him a 40 percent (round numbers) and a lead over the other contenders. Then he dropped out of the campaign. Now as a fresh contender the polls show 10 percent. Achilles has been listening to the remarks of nay-sayere and herewith present a sampling.
1. He should have stayed in the fight so we knew what he stood for.
2. He is too short, you can’t trust short people. Every short person that I have ever known was thin skinned and agressive.
3. Anyone who made as much money as he must be crooked.
4. He can’t get elected so I will not waste my vote on him.
5. He investigates people.
6. (And best of all) he scares me.
7. He is not a politician.
I will not comment on all of the above other than when people heed reasons they can always find reasons.
