H.E.A.R. meeting

CPR class at Amissville '
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Emergency Medical Service (RREMS) will be offering a CPR class from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22 at the Amissville fire department. Cost is $10. To pre-register call the R R E MS office at 825-6849.
Haunted hayrides
The Child Care and Learning Center will be sponsoring haunted hayrides and bonfire from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24 at Mountain Green Farm in Washington. Rain date is Sunday, Oct. 25.
The evening will include a costume contest, pinata bashing, hot dog and marshmallow roast, cider and a bake sale. Advance tickets are $4 adults, $2 children over 1. At the gate $6 for adults and $3 for children. Spooky and non-spooky ride options are available. Come out for a wonderful family evening. Call 675-3237 for more information.
Bingo at Castleton

The Rappahannock County Library’s First Friday Series presents an evening of stories about Rappahannock County’s haunted houses and the ghosts that have inhabited them.
