Another item of great importance is Virginia’s Right to Work Law which has been in effect for many years. It is credited by our governors and others as a big reason that industry moves to Virginia to start new plants. This law states that a person has a right, but not compelled, to join a union in order to hold a job.
Clinton and Gore in the Democratic campaign book “Putting People First” promise to support the repeal of Section 14b of the TaftHartley Act, which would instantly wipe out every state’s law for right to work.
The difference between Bush’s public service experience, support of conservative philosophy of government, support of right to work laws, warrants the vote for Bush and Quayle of every voter.
